Steve Winter, Company Director

Steve oversees Financial Management, Risk Management, Lean Management and centralised Head Office of the Nind Group including Nind Dairy Services. This includes working closely with Directors Nigel McClymont and Jeff Nind to ensure projects they take on in the Dairy Sector have the personnel and resources to ensure  “quality solutions are delivered on time”. Their philosophy is that, like the All Blacks, they are only as good as their last performance and are always striving for incremental improvements to the services they deliver.

Steve comes from a background in finance and distribution and has been with the Nind Group since 2004. His vision is to make Nind the preferred brand in servicing Southland and Otago dairy farms.

Born and bred on the farm, Steve has a B Com from Lincoln, is a keen fly fisherman and seasonal duck shooter, and likes nothing better than to escape to Central Otago with his wife and two children - a teenage boy who is an apprentice electrician and daughter currently at Canterbury University doing B Com.
