Waimumu Southern Field Days 2018 will be BIGGER & BETTER than ever before.

On show over three days, the latest in rural technology, equipment and ideas from around the world will be displayed. Drawing increasingly large crowds, with most leading rural businesses exhibiting.

Nind Dairy will be at site 320, with GEA, showing the latest in technology to support the dairy industry. There will be an exclusive customer café and a competition; ‘liner in the hole’ challenge to win instant spot prizes. ACC and You – A dual perspective for employers and employees

The Southland Community Law Centre and ACC is holding a series of FREE workshops throughout Southland and South Otago.

They want to inform employers and employees (and any interested parties!) about the ins and outs of what rights and responsibilities are attached to the ACC claim process.

ACC will provide guidance on how their system works and what they need in order to process claims effectively.

SCLC will provide the perspective from a claimant viewpoint.

Business owners and individuals will take away from the session both what to do and some options on how to do it.

Tea and Coffee will be provided.

The Southland and Otago Regional Dairy Awards are on tomorrow night and Nind Dairy Services are proud to be supporting the event and the wider Southland dairying community. Nind Dairy Services are providing two $500 vouchers for rubberwear and consumables to two lucky award winners.

The event is being held with dinner and drinks at the Bill Richardson Transport World from 6pm tomorrow night.

Nind Dairy Services would like to acknowledge some milestones this evening for some of our long-standing staff. We’re incredibly appreciative of their contribution to Nind Dairy Services, and the company would not be where it is today without the ongoing support and contribution from all the staff that makes up Nind Dairy Services.

Ron Nind started Nind Electrical Services in 1977, and today the Nind Group employs over 100 staff, including the Nind Dairy Services team. Our hardworking and dedicated team of electricians, fitters, plumbers, engineers, and support staff are indispensable. Not just to Nind Dairy Services, but to the wider farming community around Invercargill and Southland who use our services day in, day out. Tonight, we will be showing our appreciation for their dedication to Nind Dairy Services, and service to the wider rural community.

The office will be closed over the statutory holidays (we will be open on the 24^th of December). If it’s an emergency there’s no need to worry, the Nind Dairy Services team are available 24/7 for breakdowns over the Christmas and on call throughout the break. Freephone: 0800 50 22 50.

We know it’s been great weather (for ducks) but we’re hearing talk of a dry January. Now is a good time to check your pasture quality, water levels, and that you’ve got adequate shade. Also, check in with staff expectations over the holiday season. Make sure you’ve got spare parts in case anything breaks down like seals, pulse tubes, liners, filter socks or sleeves
